First Aid/CPR Class

On January 24, 2014, Career Services teamed up with Healthcare Program Chair Dr. Blakely to host a First Aid/CPR class for Westwood-South Bay students. The students learned how to administer First Aid and CPR using a mannequin. Students who attended the class also were able to earned their First Aid and CPR certification.



 

ITCS260 - Hands-On Activity

On January 9, 2014, students in the ITCS260 (LAN Switching) course were working on the session assignment. Their assignment was to configure the network by connecting routers (layer 3 switch) and computers. Students were busy working together configuring several routers.

In Cisco courses, such as ITNW260, students are to learn and utilize Cisco PacketTracer to simulate network design and configuration. The purpose of this hands-on assignment was to provide students real world experience with Cisco routers.

 

Alpha Beta Kappa Induction Ceremony

Westwood College – South Bay welcomes eighteen new students to Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society.
